Collector Ponies (G3) release date?

Hi all,

I'm sure this has been asked before, but does anyone here have any official news on when the anniversary sets of the Collector Ponies will be hitting store shelves? I'm REALLY tempted to buy them off eBay but maybe it's better if I just wait . . . as long as I know how long I have to wait!:wink:
 
I have heard August from members here at the TP. I don't know how "official" that is, but I am waiting for them too. I hate paying shipping on ponies that I know will be in stores. It's just a matter of when. Patience, patience.
 
and i am sure this question has been asked too but, where are they getting the ponies that are being sold on ebay?
 
MagicKlure, I believe that they were on sale at hasbrotoyshop.com for a week in June some time afte the 1-day sale for the first 100 sets. I believe they are now sold out.

My friend ordered some the week before last and is expecting them in the mail any day now.

Also, they have been found in Urban Outfitters stores in America and they are for sale in Australia.

Hasbro said they would be out in the Fall in their press release. I'd expect to see them end of July or August since that's mainly when they restock for Fall.
