So this is my gingerbread house entry for the competition down at Peddler's Village this year. And yes, this is a good place to put it, There will be pics below. Anyways, I don't know who remembers from last year but I had the worst time in the world trying to get my gingerbread house going. I started two weeks earlier this year and finished tonight, except for one snowman that I'll be redoing tomorrow. It's due Sunday. This year I made templates to help me cut the gingerbread properly. I stil had some problems fitting the roof properly, but I think that I covered it up pretty good. I want to thank Ristvak so much for this one. She sent me the baby baits that are featured as part of the decoration, but I also want to apologize to her. I asked her to pick a pony that could represent her, she chose Baby Moondancer, but unfortunately, I was not able to get the candy mold made for the unicorn. I had some problems getting the other two out of their molds, and I was afraid of breaking the unicorn horn beyond repair. Anyways, pictures and description time!

You guessed correctly, it's the Lullabye Nursery with ponies attached! If you know what all four sides of the Nursery looks like, then what's what this looks like, right down to the letter and window placements on the walls. There are two ponies ready to start a snowball fight, a sandbox, two Christmas trees, and presents.

Baby Tiddlywinks and her snowball stash (Sorry for the bad picture)

Baby Starshine (Another bad pic. I'll be taking a few new pics in the daylight tomorrow)

Christmas Presents! There are two open ones. The yellow one had a teddy bear, which I made with fondant. The other one has a red ball, which some (or most) of you might remember from the episode where the four baby ponies were using their imagination on the ball to make it come to life.

This is the sand box (the sand is made with crushed Special K cereal) and the "Lil old snow pony" as Truly called it in Baby It's Cold Outside.

Edt: I almost forgot that I wanted to thank Sherbet too, as she was the person who sent me her spare nursery so that I had something real to use for visual help. I can't believe I forgot about her >.<

Let me know what you guys think.

Yup, Pika. They're on display from Nov 20- January 2. I take it down tomorrow and next week they judge, so the week of the 23rd, they'll be mailing out the results. The gingerbread houses are in the gazebo. And since mine should be the only nursery, it should be easy to find :p

Nice. Soo nice. Very cute and pretty, yum!

Awww, I love it! The lil babies look soo cute - I could just eat them up *licks lips*
Very creative, and I could only imagine how many hours you put into it, I bet you were dreaming gingerbread ponies the whole time. XD

That is fantastic. Terrific details. Looks like it took a lot of time. The patience just wow. How hard was it doing the ponies for it?
