MLPTP EVENT BLOCK PARTY: Never Have I Ever - PONY EDITION!!

Yes, absolutely! I do it all the time, as I tend to pick up bait/TLC ponies to fix up or just stumble across some nasties in the wild.
I actually recently helped a poor Baby Glory out by using a bit of her tail to rehair four missing plugs. I don't like to use the tool method for restores or G1, so the head had to come off.
I also beheaded a TaF Yum Yum, and her glue was a bit tricky. The surgery was successful, though!

Yep; there have been many ponies that come to my house, thinking they've found a peaceful retirement, only to be beheaded & boiled...

I've done so many customs & restorations over the years I've lost count. And friends & family no longer take second looks at the poor ponies in various stages of dismemberment. ;)

I have beheaded several.

#1 was because I accidentally put my daughter's Scrumptious in the washing machine, not realizing she was in the basket, so I had to dry her out.

#2 Was so I could put a new tail in my tailless Seashell.

#3 and #4 Was so I could clean some gunk out of a couple of sea ponies and remove the rusty weights.

#5 Was to clean out a rusty Starhopper.

Does it count if I didn't take the head off but put it back on? Because when I scraped the paint off that sweet heart sister I had to put the head back on after digging through the box to find the head that went to it.

Have I removed a pony's head? Absolutely! Now ask me a fun one, like how many times I've accidentally stabbed myself trying to take it off! Or maybe how many times I've wailed "no no no NO NO NO NONONONONONO!" as a pony neck ring shredded apart in my hands, like so much wet tissue paper!

... I have a lot of feelings about taking off pony heads. Bait ponies, their neck rings stay perfect! But my childhood Pony Bride who I cherished and I'm trying to open with the greatest of care - no that's fine, fall apart! See if I care! You'll never break me, Hasbro!!

I've never beheaded a single pony. A whole herd, sure. But they crossed me! NO ONE CROSSES DA FOOFOO!

Edit: When you boil your ponies you must absolutely scream and beg for mercy while tossing them in. It's a hoot for all! (except the ponies)

(Oooh bummer I missed that last one)

Yep for all three, mostly for customizing! I actually had a G3 Rainbow Dash bait (and I do mean bait; I'm not usually one to call a pony bait-y but she was just...ick all 'round) sitting in my room, headless, for years because I completely forgot about her >u<; She's since been turned into a custom thankfully! Although currently I have 4 other custom ponies sitting on my shelves headless waiting for their hair to arrive.

I've also taken some heads off for cleaning and restoration. If I see tail rust I pop the head off and remove the tail washer. Tail rust is no joke! I've also had ponies in which their washers have fallen off and become lodged in one of their hooves. It causes some serious staining if you don't catch it quickly, and one of my poor Masquerades' tail washer had actually deformed her hoof. The worst case of rust I've run into thus far though has to have been my Seawinkle with her weights. She was rank, too. You can bet her head came right off as soon as I got her home!

"Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!" Lavender Letters stuffs a chip loaded with guacamole in her mouth. "I should probably be more concerned by the number of pony decapitations y'all have just admitted to... but I'm enjoying my tacos in the sun by the pool with a beverage. So.... onto the next round!"

ROUND SEVEN: Never have I Ever ...hunted through blind bags by feel (or by the special code they used to have printed on the back...) to figure out which one to buy!

All the time!! Especially when a lot of the waves were just the various transparent ponies, I couldn't keep all of the different ones I had straight so I just went for the "chase".

Yes I have feel the bag to see which one to buy And just for fun I love going through all the bags just to guess who's in it the bag my most recent was the Mashmallow My little pony so entertaining to guess those and I got applejack my sister think I'm crazy when I do it

Yes, I did this while trying to find a couple specifics from Wave 23 (*cough*Apple Split*cough*). I did something similar recently where I was trying to find a specific pony from the CMC Wedding Bash boxes, so I tried to see if I could tell which they were based on the brochures that were close enough to the cracks in the confetti balloon on some of them ^u^; I know, it's pathetic. But I've gotten so many freakin' doubles from the Wedding Bash wave that I'm starting to get really annoyed and discouraged.

I absolutely have. The FIM blind bags were easy because of the numbers, but I stopped buying them after probably the sixth or seventh wave. I had to feel those emoji ones to get an idea who was in there (and I was still wrong). Cutie Mark Crew series 1 and 2 were impossible without sliding the cardboard off the tubes. So were the Loyal Subjects figures and now CMC series 3 and 4.

I have taken off quite a few heads.... even back in my pre-teen days! Never hunted through blind bags, though. The ones we have were all gifts.

I have, but mostly with the Funko wave that included the Power Ponies because I was feeling for the “fat Fluttershy,” as my family dubbed the bulked up version. My hubby wanted that one! I have tried and tried to find a pattern on the CMC packages, but have failed. Woah.

Totally did. I remember when they had little windows on em for peeking too.

Yes. I don't ID the ponies by feel... but I've definitely hunted for the blind bags by using the codes printed on the back or bottom. I haven't picked up any of the latest blind bag series, though... so I don't know if they've done away with that "cheat" or not. c.c; Sometimes the bag had a hole at the top (for rack hooks), and you could get a peek as to who was in there.

edit: I've still been mistaken/mis-read a number, and gotten a blind bag I already had... c_c;
