Hi, I'm Cswift. I've been generally avoiding internet communities like the plague for a few years now, but lately I've been detoxing from some bad social experiences and I figure it can't hurt to start again.

I've been collecting dolls since high school, but MLP actually never really interested me when I was a child. I was born right around when G1 was fizzling out, had a few of the G2 Happy Meal toys but didn't think much of it otherwise, and was "too old" for G3. I went through a brief period of interest in FiM but quickly lost enthusiasm by Season 2 and never cared much for the toys anyways. My current interest in G1, funny enough, was sparked by my fascination with a completely different retro toy, Furby. I noticed that people who collected 1998 Furbies often collected G1 MLP as well, started thinking that these toys were actually rather cute and charismatic, and well...

My first pony is actually coming in the mail today. Cherry Treats. I hope she smells nice or at least neutral, LOL

I decided to join this forum because I feel bad harassing my non-doll friends with my weird hobbies. Hopefully I'll have some nice conversations here!

I am a doll collector as well as, a pony collector myself. Nice to meet you. Congrats on your G1 purchase. She is a pretty choice. I don't really care as much for G2 or G4/G4.5. I do so love G1 and I really like G3 too. G1 is really my biggest passion though. Glad you joined us and hope you enjoy our community.
