G1 Basic Fun Retro Ponies: A Collector's Guide: CELESTIAL PONIES and 40th Anniversary

Went looking for Tickle yesterday. No dice. :(

Just a heads up but it looks like Starflower and Pinwheel are in stock on the target app, as of this posting. Not sure how accurate the app is with stock. I’ve been watching since last week and they have been going in and out of stock. Hopefully target isn’t trolling us lol

Edit for an update. My order came from target.com and they are in fact pinwheel and starflower and NOT one of the others so no trolling lol. I checked the site again and they are both still available. Good luck everyone

Out of the blue, we found some of the Y3 Rainbows (Starflower, Tickle x3 and Confetti were there) and the G3 repros (sans Rainbow Dash). Ended up picking up Confetti then.
Is it just me, or do their symbols rub off easier than the previous set? Haven’t had a problem with my Y2s, but one of Confetti’s “sprinkles” almost rubbed off completely with my finger when I held her while cleaning :surprisepony:
On the plus side, their glitter has a pinkish sheen to it when it hits the light!

I was just checking my e-mail and saw something about Toys R Us coming back. They now have a web-site up (https://www.toysrus.com/search/?q=my little pony&sz=12&start=0) and are selling some of the Basic Fun repros, G3 repros and a few others. 'I'm not sure what countries they ship to. (Sorry for the incomplete info. I'm on vacation and was just going online real quick to check my e-mail.)

I have been all over the place trying to finish my Repro and Mash'em collections and I feel like I am so close. I am lacking Medley, and for Mash'ems I am needing Minty, Snuzzle and Butterscotch all MOC(I have all 6 loose but want a MOC set as well), then ST AppleJack. just ARGH, so close!

I just need Rainbowdash and Tootsie.

I saw one lonely Seashell at Target and a Trickles and Parasol at Cracker Barrel today. Didn't get any of them. Trickles was very pretty though.

Oh can you imagine a multi-pack of babies? even if it's 2 in a box. :lolpony:
That’d be cute! The babies packed by species :lolpony:
I feel like that would be the most probable way they’d be packed, with a comb and a diaper or a multipack. It would be quite expensive to replicate ALL their accesories, especially for a small company like Basic Fun. Maybe a gift set like the Y2 Rainbows?

That's more in line with what I was thinking. Just all of them packed together.

Just an assumption on my part, but it holds water...

Since the Unicorn and Pegasus line came out on the Target website I have been checking all six of them daily, multiple times a day to have my chance to add them to my collection. They do appear as being buyable merchandise on their website so the listings are not stagnant, but when they do they go fast. Almost inhumanly fast, where they are out of stock within a half hour or so of being on the site. I have heard of instances of similar with other desirable items from online stores where people have scripts set up on their browser to buy them as soon as they become available. This is a problem with a couple very desired computer components that I gave up on temporarily, where they would come in stock on Amazon and then be gone, then other vendors come along with their own listings with a gouged price anywhere from 33% to double (...or more...) the MSRP on Amazon, eBay and other places.

I had this issue with the Rainbow Ponies which are now easier to get since the Unicorn and Pegasus line was released. I now have those after waiting for 9 months and checking Target's website, and Target has them more often than before for longer. But the U&C line is fleeting when it shows up as it seems there are more people looking specifically for them.

Again, speculation due to experience and observation, but I have this feeling that these ponies are hard to find online via reputable stores because of scalpers.

I concur.
