Hello! As known from my introduction post, I only just started collecting old ponies. I have 11 ponies right now, 10 of which are ready for me to either keep or sell. As they were from an Op Shop ("Thrift Store"), I don't know about where they were before I bought them, but considering how they didn't smell at all, I'd say they came from a smoke-free home (my home is also smoke-free). The hair is uncut. I've done a surface clean, and their hair has been conditioned/softened and brushed (but not styled). Some have minor discolouration and a few have slight stains, but nothing too bad. If possible, I'd like to know the average selling price for each pony. From browsing ebay, here are my current guesses:
  • Super Long Hair Rarity (Variant?) - $35
  • Forsythia Friendship Ball - $40
  • Lavender Lake - ?
  • Sunny Daze 4 - $15-35
  • Minty 3 - Wing Wishes - $30
  • Frilly Frocks - $15
  • Hidden Treasure - $4-13?
  • Round ’N Round - $5-16?
  • Dance Around and Dance Slippers - $9-24
Here is an imgur album with photos and notes on each pony. (let me know if not allowed). None of my ponies have accessories, by the way ^_^.
Thank you for your help!

Most average g3 out of the packaging aren't worth more than $3-5 each. Having all the original accessories does raise the value. Lavender lake can be hard to find, and definitely worth more.

Oh, that's a shame! I'll still try my luck with higher prices, you never know!

And yeah, I noticed how hard it was to find Lavender anywhere online! Is there a reason she's so hard to find?

Honestly, I'm no expert. My guess is that her production run was smaller. Also, if you're selling on ebay, you can always post high and be open to offers. Certain times of the year are better, too, for selling. Bluerose would be a good member to ask if she has time.

Unfortunately I don't know much about G3s. Keeping up with prices on G1s keep me busy enough since they're ever-changing. But I'd just check out sold auctions and not just what they're listed for because if they not selling, then nobody is buying them for these prices.

As Tak said, most G3s seem to go for around $3-$5. But the ones that are rarer will go higher. You may want to ask around for prices on Lavender Lake and check on sold auctions because she may just pop up to give you an idea for what she's worth.

Since Bluerose9978 is here, I'd like to thank you for your amazing eBay sale price guide!! It has been such a help to me! :) Thank you for all of your work @bluerose9978 !!

I think generally the best way to get a maximum return out of ponies on eBay is to list them separately, with an option to combine shipping. Lots can scare some people away, and I know when I buy lots, I'm usually looking for a deal, because I usually don't need all of the ponies. So I'd list all of them separate, make sure you have all the right keywords in the title (My Little Pony Lavender Lake, for example), and wait. Alternately, maybe some small lots of 2-3, so you're more likely to get bites! Good luck! G3s don't usually have a high return on eBay, unfortunately.

You're welcome! I'm glad people get use out if it, especially those times when you're looking on eBay's ended listings and can't find the pony you're looking for. Unfortunately, there are soooooo many different HTF nirvanas and variants that I've been kind of slow obtaining prices on those.

When I purchase or sell my ponies the "best" on my scale are the ones that are in "display condition", where the tinsel isn't too kinked or stretched; (while they may be factory flaws) the cutie marks, hoof marks, and eyes are unblemished and crisp; not a lot of splashover from neck and hoof magnet glue; if there are stains or marks that cannot be removed; and if the hair has not been trimmed or cut, and isn't dry and frizzed- basically looking like perfection. "Excellent Used Condition", in my opinion, are flaws that really can't be helped but wouldn't interfere with the over-all visual appeal if it were put on a shelf on display; such as slightly stressed vinyl, discoloration and lightly smudged paint.

They may have been someone's well-loved toy at one point, and the less abused it has been the more appealing it is to me as a collector. Not very many people use the same scale that I do because it is based on my own personal preference, but these may be good factors to price your pony with.

From my experience with G3s, it's not very frequent that the regular line of ponies are going to be priced above $8 each. Dance Slippers and Dance Around may go for around $12-15 together as a set, but not too well separately. Lavender Lake may be one of those, but the ones I have been involved in didn't bridge more than $13 on bid. Lavender has had a wide range of prices, though most of them on the low-to-mid range, so I couldn't really give you a finite price point.

I hope this helps in some way :3
