I definitely did. I had a blast playing with the ponies. I remember when they first came out in the stores. I still think back to those days of playing with the showstable. I also loved Brandy the doggy. He had such soft plastic legs. I also had a hard time fitting applejack into the show stable. Then came the Dream castle which I played with alot. My Majesty had weird yellow regrind on her legs I thought an alien from space slimed her. I also think back to saving up for the mail order ponies. Though I didn't get them all the rainbow ponies were the best. There was also the time my dog chewed up my ponies so he was banned for going around me when I played with them. He wasnt very happy but I was so mad at him I thought he owed me money. lol.

I definitely did, too. ^_^ Not many, but I certainly loved the ones I had (and I still have all my original G1s! :3) I remember going over to a couple friend's houses, who also had ponies (and some of the playsets, like Dream Castle), and we'd play together, imagining different scenarios and stories for our toys. :3

Meee!

I sure did and it's why I like them forever

Ever since I was a toddler in the 80's my mom bought them for ne and I ended up with a childhood collection
I add to it now and then as I come across ponies I like for cheap

I really revisited my love for ponies my teen/young adult years and I've never let go of them again since cD

Though I'm most into the art of it now

Oh, yes! I loved playing with my ponies. I asked for them for all the holidays and had quite a good size collection. I remember having several playsets too, I loved setting everything out in my room like it was Dream Valley. I had the MLP Hide n' Sleep and loved being inside it surrounded by ponies.

Absolutely! Had quite a collection too, in fact still have them. G1s remain the only ones that have any real emotional attachment for me. And yes, I so miss those big wide aisles full of nothing but MLPs

I did! I had a good collection of them. I never got Dream Castle or Paradise Estates but I did have the Nursery, Show Stable, and Pretty Parlor. I had quite a few ponies, baby ponies, and even a sea pony although I only remember a few of who I had. My favorite growing up was Moondancer. My parents kept all my toys, including my ponies, right up until they had to downsize and had a big auction. The auction people were supposed to not include my ponies, but they did by accident and they were sold.

Okay this is a hard question to answer without a long explanation for me. I was like 11 or 12 when G1 came out I guess. All the little kids I babysat had MLP, CPK, CB and SSC. Oh and S. Wees too. Those were the most popular toys on the block for all my little charges. None of the kids I kept had Barbie, Gem or larger dolls. I put a lot of them to bed with Glow Worms. I got paid 1.00 an hour and went from house to house all summer keeping littles and playing MLP with them. My fondest memories were of Minty and the Sea Ponies. We would take them out to the pool and play in the tub in the middle of the day. One of my little girl's had the Paradise Estate and the Castle. I loved the MLP but did not buy any for fear mom would look at me strangely. She was okay with dolls so I went with collecting CPK during that time in my life. I loved looking at the ponies in the stores. The most common ponies I remember seeing were the collector's pose, Bowtie, Applejack and a few others..large sea ponies and maybe just a small amount of babies because, one child had the LN set. So, I didn't have them myself because of my age, but I secretly loved them and enjoyed playing with the kids with them. The kids did not collect them. They had only a few like 10 or less and a small amount of all the other toys I mentioned. One little girl had a MLP bedroom that was so cute.

Oh my gosh I would die a thousand deaths.

That is a very sad a story. I hope you found some replacements. :xmashug:

I did lord I watch MLP glow worm and Transformers every moring before school.
My best Christmas memory was waking up to a dream castle and a few ponies.
I do remember wonder how Santa got into my Pony Trunk. As there were a few of my old ponies with the new.
My pony box was safer the Fort Knox and my sister and my friends knew don't mess with Ology's ponies!

Mommy Ology's get very anger if they did!

I did too my first was cotton candy. I was lucky enough to have duvet covers and curtains, lamp shade ect. Love them all.
Remember going to see the movie I was so excited!!!

No worries, I replaced all the G1s that I wanted. I'm a person that doesn't have to have the actual pony I played with growing up. I am perfectly happy with getting a replacement. :)

Yea I am like this with some of the dolls I had as a child. I have replaced them and they mean just as much. When it comes to ponies you bond with them so easily. They are so addicting and wonderful. It is like being alive in Candy Land.

That sounds very cute. I loved cotton candy too she was my first pony. I finally got her plushie for so long putting it off. I should get her out now since Im sick. Unfortunately all my ponies are probably unhappy being stuck in boxes and bins. I think they will plot their revenge on me if I dont smarten up and move from this blasted place. I replaced my Strawberry shortcake dolls I have alot more now. Though I haven't worked on buying more the Seaponies calleth me. :D
