I ordered a baby doll, A Custom Last unicorn my little pony, Two ornaments and my mother and sister bought and mailed me two ornaments a Grinch and a rainbow bright one. I also had some stuff coming from a member on here for my little niece.

The packaged were either never delivered no matter what the tracking say or someone stole them.

Has this ever happen to any one?

Were they delivered next door? I know that happens for us we had someone else's package delivered to ours the other day coz they weren't in. But our postmen / woman leave a note at the house saying where they left it.

They are not aloud to leave packages on the door step its against the law .... well it is here anyway they have to deliver it another day if you are not in or they cant give it to next door.

Have you rung your local post office & asked them? Or Check with your neighbours.

check with your neighbors and the post office, if it turns out they was stolen file a police report
they are probably gone forever if they was stolen, theft is at its highest this time of year

If the post office is like here, it might just have been dumped on the doorstep for anyone to take. I got home the other day with a package thrown there, was a little mad that they just put it there, neighbours could easily have taken it without my knowing. Seems the mailmen don't really care, so your package might have been disreguarded and someone was tempted. I hope that's not the case :sadpony:

Yeah I was not pleased with them either, it was rather shocking and I was very angry. It could have been anything in that package, thankfully my neighbour is an old lady who is super nice, so that might just have saved my package from curious people.

Uh oh... D: I saw a Facebook post about a eBay transaction that sounds identical to this. I hope it's not the same one x____x

Person said that confirmation stated that the package had been delivered, yet the recipient was filing a case against them.

Others were suggesting that maybe it was delivered to the wrong address, and it sounds as though there's a lot of confusion.

Oh man, that sucks! I'd definitely recommend making a complaint to the post office or delivery service who delivered the package(s).

That happened to my neighbor. We live in neighboring apartments. She asked my family if we got her package, but honestly we didn't. I'm afraid to order large things. I've ordered a few McDonald's toys off ebay, but they fit in the apartment mailbox.

It's happened to me several times. I live out in the Styx, so my mailbox was far from the house. I had quite a few pakages taken, including some of my aunt's meds that came in the mail. I got a PO box to prevent it. Fed Ex and UPS won't leave packages out here because the thefts are so bad.

Heck, I have to be at the corner at 6 am to get my aunt's newspaper as it's delivered or it gets stolen too.

It really makes me sad. We shouldn't steal from our neighbours. We shouldn't steal at all.

I'm sorry your packages are gone. I hope it was a mistake and they are returned.

Yes I ask my neighbor and my family that lives close by. None of them had seen anything. The post office has given me the run around with I will call you back and never did . I have gone over and spoken with two supervisors. A nice postman who delivers my mail said he think he know the person driving the truck on the day the packages went missing. He would at least let me know where they might have been left. I have told the post I am very unhappy with them.

I did final a case on ebay sense nothing came. I was only gone from my house a few hours to eat and the item were said to be here when I got back and of course they were not.

Not only I am I out the two ornaments my mother and sister order for me but my nieces little doll and pony and some stickers and stuff I got from a seller on here for her is gone.

I don't have funds to buy more Christmas presents for her so I am kind of stuck with that. I don't want to sound selfish but I am out my ornaments they are about the only thing I ever get for Christmas. I know it better to give but I have gotten ornament ever year for the post almost 20 years and they were all I am getting.

I am guessing this whole thing is a bust I plan to spend Christmas in bed and not doing anything. This whole thing just ruins it for me.

Don't let it ruin your holiday! There's still a chance things may turn up. I know I;m hoping for a happy outcome for you!

Sounds like a real nightmare... :sadpony:

Though we've had packages delivered to our door while not home, and the deliveryman wouldn't leave it but instead put a yellow slip in our mailbox saying "sorry we missed you! Claim your package at the p.o."

And you'd think that even if the package was delivered to a wrong address, that they'd be able to confirm it... cause wouldn't the wrong addressee need to still sign for the package?

There's so much that seems screwy with the postal system. Not sure if it's different for different types of residences.

I'm sorry they went missing, but I don't think it's fair to the seller to request a refund if it did, in fact, make it to your house based on the delivery confirmation slip.

I'm sorry to hear about this theft. :( My only suggestion is to set cameras to watch your doorstep and or mailboxes. Use a camera that can upload to a computer, so you can put the videos on youTube.

I've had it with USPS. They just lost a package that had a rare Japanese model kit in it. Priority and a tracking #, but it disappeared on the 4th and no one seems to care.

I wonder if they'll care when my Congressman and Senator call them? I wonder if they'll care when I tell Starship Modeler that I won't order from him anymore because he only ships Priority?

Seriously, it's time to boycott the USPS.

Probably someone stole it off your step- that happened to us several times (despite a gate that latches) because the packages on our step are in easy view of the street.

Now we have a giant locking mailbox. Anything that seems too big for the mailbox, I have delivered to my office.

This is the season of stolen mail- ESPECIALLY packages. I do hope your package turns up, and yes it is possible it was delivered to your neighbor, but even more likely it was spotted by someone who was driving around for the express purpose of stealing packages left on doorsteps. It happens all the time, but especially around the holidays.

My package arrived to Ology safely, but it had to be re-directed from a p.o. box from the other side of her town.

So I've suggested this member check with that other post office to see if the rest of her missing packages are there, hopefully that's how things turned out and all of this is that easy to sort out!

Would explain as to why things were marked as "delivered" if they were delivered to the wrong post office but in the correct town, so they appeared to be "missing".

Am hoping this is really as easy and straight forward as it seems. :satisfied:
