Does anyone have any suggestions as to who to send emails to for my go fund me? My friends and family are broke, but I'm not making headway through the interest charges. I really need to get debt down just enough so we can afford to eat.

I can ask my sister she had to do one for a course her school she work ate forced her to take and it was like 1200 dollars books and all. They had just had my niece and movie into there house so they had no extra money. School wanted her to take it down she told them then pay for me to go. needless to say through friends and family and anyomus people her go fund me work and she got just a bit over 1200 for school. she donated the 200 doller extra to another teacher in the same class with the same issue.

Anything would help @Ology the interest charges are eating our food budget and the only bill I could possibly cut is getting rid of Netflix. With no antenna and no dvd player, Evelyn's entertainment options will drop. We can live without it, though. I'm also taking myself off caffeine. Cold turkey will give me headaches, so I just bought store brand and starting today no more than 2 a day for a week. Then I'll go down to one a day for a week. After that it'll be one to two a week as needed until the headaches are bearable.

Thank you!

As for the caffeine, can you switch to tea? It's what I'm doing so I can still get my caffeine fix and drop the soda. It's not just the expense, it's the effects on my health. I do love my Dr Pepper, but he has to go.

As for TV, if you have decent internet, there's some good places you can watch TV for free, Like Crackle. com. I could get a list of free tv/movie sites together if it would help.

And good luck with the fundraising. When you get the page set up, please give us the link!

Thanks @evilbunnyfoofoo a list of free tv would be amazing! The internet went up $20 a month and we need it for bills, books, ponies, and minecraft. As for soda, it's more that the carbonation helps to clear up my morning mouth. I can switch to store brand diet non-caffeinated as needed. I do drink tea. I really love iced tea. Am I allowed to post a link here? I thought it wasn't allowed. Please delete it if it's not ok.

I think it would be alright. If not, I'm the one who's a troublemaker, not you! :D

@Tak , I'm not sure where you live, but there may be resources for discounted services in your area, based on your income. I know when I was really struggling and on food stamps, my city had discounted internet, therapy, dental care, and a lot of other low-cost resources.

Thanks. I'm already hooked up with everything we qualify for. I admit it's my fault that I had credit debt to begin with. Manic episodes and available funds don't mix well for me. While I've gotten it under control and I've managed to sell so much to pay off and close enough accounts to get the car, these recent urgent expenses, plus the increase in internet, really set us back. I did find another food pantry, plus my mother is buying us imperfect produce. If I can just get a few more sales on eBay, then we'll be back to a place where we can squeeze by. I'm probably going to need to have my daughter sell all non draculaura and any other toys that might sell. It's her birthday this month, but she understands the need. I'm looking into foofoo's suggestions for free tv as well. Although my one friend did say that she might be able to pay our Netflix bill for a couple months. It doesn't seem like much, but every bit counts.
