Any Hope For Severe Frizz?

Miss Fizzy has extremely frizzy hair. I've deep conditioned it, used a flat iron, and even dipped it in boiling water. The hair has improved some, but is still horrible. Her cutie marks aren't the greatest, and she also has tail rust I was going to fix. I'm mostly fixing her for experience vs calling her bait. Anything else I should try?

Poor Fizzy! I am not an expert on this, but I do know resources that you can check out.

FarDreamer's website, The My Little Pony Preservation Project.
www.mlppreservationproject.com

Mlpland.com has a restoration section ( but it's in German so you might want to hit the translate button)

Also, the Ponyland Press also has a basic wash/style section
ponylandpress.com

And the My Little pony heaven has a bigger section
www.linniekin.net

Also, Pineapple's Styling salon is a wealth of information
www.alaska.net

If all else fails, you can search on YouTube My Little pony restoration

Here's a good video ( using a Fizzy, may I add)

I've watched tutorial after tutorial. Tried different things. It might be time to call it and allow her to be play condition pony for the kiddos.

If you still need help, I bought a gusty with a tail the quality of your Fizzy's mane! I used some ol' shampoo and conditioner. Sure it didn't get all the frizz out, but made it look WAY better.

I shampoo and condition, let air dry. Then i use a curling iron on pretty low. I go from body to ends leaving the iron on longer than you’d expect to be safe, like a twenty second count moving it slowly down a half inch at a time. Do over and over lining up the hair as it sticks out of the curling iron, combing the hair straight so it goes into the curler lined up straight. Eventually you can get some progress. Never like brand new but dramatically better. I hope that makes some sense! Takes some experimenting to get iron on right heat so practice on something not valuable.
