I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

I'm grateful to have a replacement Gen 1 Twilight, and for free with the Target $10 gift card I got from buying $50 of Legos, but still....….at least she can stand better unlike the original. That's a plus.

**UPDATE on more Info**
A YouTube user by the name Derpyderp910 told me on her FB page -
' I think all unicorns were impacted. The set I bought in-store over the summer was fine except Moondancer. I ordered a second set to keep MIB from Kaplan Toys, and they all have messed up stripes. So I'm up to three Moondancers now! haha! '

I suspect that the machine they're using is possibly misaligned. If they had a third row in hair plugs like the originals, I don't think this problem would have happened.

So, I've made a new photo album that anyone can add to, to use as future reference of factory flaws that come up.

At this time I'm not sure if I want to buy another one or to do a trade or to have someone rehair her since I don't know how.

If you have any flaws to catalog, please post your photos in the album provided.

I would take one of your extras Moondancers he he ;)
It's hard to believe that Twilight sparkle almost looked like that
honestly it doesn't look that bad I never owned original one so I don't know the difference

What bothers me the most is that the stripe isn't a seperate row of plugs. At least it'll make it easy to tell the difference between the originals and the remakes.
I didn't take mine out and I don't think I plan on it, but I can see the lazy rooting is clear even when she's in the box. I think that's the norm with these, sadly.

I'm glad to be getting new releases of old ponies, but man, quality sure has gone downhill. Still, new ponies, so yays!

I think its the price we have to pay missed quality control now its just like mass produced with none whatsoever. Though I do have to end with I like the new retro releases I was about to find two where I live but I dont know if indigo toys will get some more in I will just wait and see.

Ok, I love the way her hair looks. Maybe I'm biased because it looks a bit like my hair, but still. I like the blending with the purple and white.

If the hair isn't rotting, or falling out, or greasy, or unmanageable, I'm fine with it.
