Okay so we all love toys, ponies and numerous other things. Today I was out of town to see a doctor. I went to see my mother too and then we slipped over to TRU. I went through the girl aisle first. There are all these wonderful toys and the only thing I wanted to bring home was a purple Kitty Surprise. Now why in the world did I want that? I mean it's a vintage type retro toy again for me. I am sad there are no more LA LA's being made. I am not into MH. I enjoyed the Disney doll aisle and I did purchase 4 Tsum Tsums I wanted which I should not have because we are low on funds. Every time I go into the store it's the retro stuff I want. Oh and I saw this adorable fuzzy cat in the Calico Critters section that I showed R2 maybe for a birthday gift. Then we go on the boy aisle. I was very pleased to see dolls on the boy aisle. Star Wars and some wrestler chicks along with Wonder woman. Why didn't they put Film version Wonder Woman on the girl aisle too? Every girl needs a good female superhero? Why did they consider her only worth of the boy aisle? That was amazing to me. R2 points out what he wants. Then we see this fantastic larger scale die cast Camper and I wanted that and a truck to go with it. We couldn't find a truck in the right scale. What igno made a camper with no truck to haul? I protest. I forgot to visit the Schleich animals. I love the large Big Foot and Abominable Snowman over there with the mega huge dinos. I love walking through the Claire's section as I love all that stuff. I think I could easily move into a toy store. I wish I could go back into time and go to the toy store. There was no My Little Pony aisle. In fact the toys in that section was about the width of on arm outstretched. What is that about? They had practically nothing.

What is an explorer hat I am drawing a blank lol? All I can picture is a mining hat with a bright light.

Yeah, like that! Professor Tulagirl I presume? *puffs bubble pipe*

Its kinda annoying that Wonder Woman is in the boy section.

I know can you please explain why? I am really confused about it. It would not have bothered me if I had seen the film version doll in both sections, but that was not the case. The old fashioned version is in the girls section and the film version in the boys. I loved that movie. Gotta buy it as I want to watch it again. I was so into Wonder Woman as a young girl. I played Wonder Woman at school during recess with my friends. I wanted Wonder Woman underoos so bad, but no one knew where to buy them. So I never got those boooooooo.

Exactly! Shoulda been in both. Girls love superheroes and villains too.

Wonder women are in both section at our Walmart. Girl and boys but the smaller figures are with the Boyish section but I think it's more of its easier to find if the smaller figures are together. That way all marvel capcon all others figures together. I don't really think of it as a big issue sense all the larger dolls and such are in the girl section.
One thing I will give our Walmart is they blend boy and girl section together well.
@tulagirl do yo mean LaLa as in lalaloopsy? If so they rebooted the series so they are still made they just only have a few out toget. They have real hair. I can't complain I finally got my Storm e Sky so I am pretty happy to finally get her. Thought I want the others.

I have not checked out Walmart yet.

I actually was talking about La La Loopsy. I just prefer to write it out as La La. I am not seeing any new dolls in the mini size at any store here. Booooo

The little paint can blind "BAG"?? just came out here along with finding the dolls in store. The new series on Netflix is pretty good. I do miss the old La La but at least the show is not gone gone. Though I wish you could by the old show on Dvd or something the don't show it on nick jr anymore.
The new dolls are really cute and I really hope I can get Spot and Jewel next. I hope there is a season two and Pillow will show up she is my Favorite La La of all.

Most of our stores combine the boys and girls dolls or put them all in the girls sections. There's the dc superhero girls line now, too. I wish they wouldn't segregate the legos either. No boy should feel bad about wanting a doll and no girl should feel bad about wanting the be-be guns. The mh and pony sections have both shrunk. The mlp section should get bigger again when they release the new e.g. for Christmas. Disney hurt mattel big time by switching to Hasbro over eah. I'm not a fan of the descendants and Disney doesn't own the fairy tales. I think eah had better colors, outfits, and personalities.

@tulagirl we can take over a toy store during the zombie apocalypse and live there! Sweet! :p

The only problem I see with the paint can mini dolls so far is they not many of them look like new releases. Basically, from what I saw these dolls have already been released before. I don't like that much. I want new characters. I have been collecting La Las' since they came out so I have most of them. I don't want to buy the same ones over again just because their packaging is different. This is a toy company mistake made by most popular lines. I saw a couple I didn't recognize but for the most part, they are all old releases. I guess they just found a way to get rid of extra inventory for a new group of children that may like Lalaloopsy. I have been upset the the company lately because, we use to get holiday exclusives and now they have just decided to not do those either over the past few years. Boooo I was a huge fan. We bought them all up any time we saw new lines unless I didn't like the line.

At the stores here they just have a Lego section that is not part of the boy or girl aisles so, that solves that problem.

I wish I could fine the big one with the bubble in her mouth. I collect the big ones.

Speaking of Wonder women Anyone want to see my custom Movie wonder women and mother and there horses? or is this just silly to ask.

I saw some very charming old school Strawberry Shortcake plush doll characters at Barnes and Noble.

Reminds me of when I went to a toy store about two weeks ago. Of course I was flat broke (trying to save for Christmas), so I didn't buy anything, but I spent a few minutes petting a Tenderheart Bear that I would totally have bought if he didn't cost nearly $39. The new Care Bears are just so soft!
Actually, buying toys of any kind around here is pretty crazy expensive, especially if I take Amazon (US) prices as the default. MLPs never sell for less than $8, it's not unusual for regular MHs to go for $30 as a default... Holiday Barbies, that I see on the Mattel website as going for around $40 new, go for $70 in stores here. If they get to stores, that is. And yes, that includes the disaster that was last year's Holiday Barbie.
Speaking of which, I'm curious: how much do Enchantimals cost in US stores? I've seen them go for $9-10 here, so I'm curious.

At our walmart Enchantimals are about 8 for a single doll/pet and for the sets they seem to be from 15 to 25 dollars.
