I've been laying low and not spending money, given my unemployed status. However, I've been very good for a long time, so went hunting today. I knew one of our local dealers had a bunch of G1's I needed, so I headed out and increased my herd. Unfortunately, many of the ones I picked up have some minor to major flaws.

Anyway, I decided to stop at Toys R Us on the way home to look at their G4's and what do I see on the shelves. RAINBOW PONIES!!! All of them. They had just put them out on the shelf and they went directly into my buggy. I didn't think Canada was ever going to get any.

I was late to the Rainbow pony party and by the time I called the Target closest to the Canadian border a week ago, they were sold out. I was totally bummed. Imagine my joy when I found all of them close to home. It looks like they only had one set, which seems silly to me.

Also, what's the dealio with the Rainbow ponies being scented? Why must they mess with perfection?

My TRU keeps only getting a few Rainbow Ponies at a time. But I got the ones I really needed. Yes. I needed them.

I 100% agree with the scent!! Although I do really like a couple of the scents.

Also, congrats on your G1 haul!! It’s always exciting to come across them in the wilds.

I like the scents too, but why? They didn't need any other gimmick. Anyone know if they all come scented?

The scents honestly make me a little nauseated. I used to have all five (that I have) on my desk and I eventually had to put them away because the mixed aromas were a little unnerving. XD They're gorgeous though, and how cool that you found them locally!

Congrats!
I had my Rainbows close to my AC and it seems like the scents have all gone. Perhaps the cold seeps out the scents.

Yay for new rainbow ponies!

@Cactusflower have you seen the hqg1c project ponies? If not, I'd recommend them to you. They're at clipper's sail on ecrater.
