I love those spider bags! And that purple tissue paper is to die for (I think I'll use that for a color sample when I get the vinyl on the hearse dyed)

And the goodies! There's a light up glass with spiders and skulls on it, a wind up skeleton wearing a suit (cute!), a grow your own mummy, paint your own suncatchers, skeleton napkins, chocolate coins, a snickers bar (my fav), and of course ponies! (the pop-rocks didn't make it into the photo... the man stole them as soon as I opened them). Thank you so much for all the goodies hon. I love everything, and I think I'm going to go paint my suncatchers now

ya know SSC I think I can finally answer that question you posted awhile back

I am loving equally seeing how everyone shows off what they got and gets to get thank yous out and everything just as much as I liked getting my stuff ready = I thought at first how much I like just doing all the shopping and making up a package - like the creating part of any process, that journey itself is fun and enjoyable even if there's always that maybe self-doubt your person will like it = did I read their list right? = kinda thing... and now there's that sense of vindication - "oh cool, they like it" that everyone's sharing helps to make the whole process complete in a good way...

so I guess to make a long answer longer - I just love the whole dang swap idea from beginning to end

thanks to Bittie for organizing and thanks to everyone for sharing - makes me smile just knowing this community is out here

My Box from Darcerin!

My Swap Box has arrived!

Just opened the box and here is all the awesomeness contained within:

Here are all the packages out of the box before being opened.

A close up of the stickers decorating the bags so you can see how cute they are. Some of them have googly eyes! :sleepdeprivation:

Here is everything unwrapped! Each of the bags is full of candy. I mean FULL! It is safe to say my candy fix will be well fed for the next several weeks! There is a package of awesome gummy worms and the little bucket has a Swiss Milk Chocolate bar. There is a little Halloween themed pad of sticky notes (perfect for homework stuff) and an adorable lion eraser who has move-able legs!

And lastly two amazing ponies! Both Sweet Suds and Twinkle Dancer are the first in each of their series for me. So, they are doubly awesome!

Yea!!! I'm so glad you liked it CJ! I was really worried I didn't have enough candy for you. Then I was afraid I was going to wreck your dancer physique with all the candy I did get!

Since you're a dancer, I wanted to go with a "ballet" theme for at least one Pony for you! I looked for Smarties EVERYWHERE and I finally found them on the last day of shopping. Whew!

OK guys, I got my package today (or should I say packages, as it was 2 boxes from the lovely and sweet Canazta!)

I picked it up this morning and she was excited that I got it. Unfortunately, I had errands to run after work and didn't get to open it until late, so sorry she had to wait another day to see what I got!

I just want to say before I share all the pictures of me enjoying what she so carefully picked out and packaged for me, that I thoroughly have enjoyed this swap- I have wanted to participate in one for a long time- the first and last one I did was a V-day swap, but I was excited to go again, so this was the perfect one I could have joined in on!


Canazta, I just want to say I really loved every single thing you wrapped for me, especially the hand-written notes telling me which one to open next, and explaining how each gift was specially chosen. How amazing, I feel so lucky to have a friend like you!

Me so content and happy with my package! Sandcastle was finally reunited with Shovels after all these years!

Beautiful drawing of Honeycomb in a witch hat! I love this! I hung it on my wall in my pony room!

Here are all the goodies unwrapped and propped up.

I got an amazing drawing, New Born Shovels (honey, I think she is definitely mint! In my book she's perfect!) an awesome Magic Moves MIB Barbie which I love! I have it in my pony closet right now and it looks great! Really shiny and perfect!

I've got some amazing and seriously good candies, including some Swedish milk chocolate (which I ate almost the entire bar already) a Snickers bar (which my husband will try to steal if I don't hide it) and some incredible, astounding, amazing salty licorice. I'm not kidding folks, it's just amazing. I've never had anything like it before- click on the picture below to see my first reaction to tasting it! LOL!

I also got some deliciously smelling candles which are special- click to see the note describing how special they are. And along with candles came some beautiful and totally wicked Halloween candle holders that I was so stoked to see! I love these, they make great decorations, and I couldn't have gotten them anywhere here, so it's so extra special!

I also got some ghost and bat sprinkles for cupcakes or ice cream. Love these- when I use them, I'll have to take a picture! Yum!

And look at those cute, shiny Halloween stickers! I'm going to stick some on my calendars and other things to cheer me up around here!

Did I mention I got Shovels? LOL! I was soooo excited to see her, see the goofy expression on my face in the attached photo! So lovely, I never expected to get someone as rare as her in my swap.

I just have to say, Canazta, you went ALL OUT! You really spoiled me and I just can't tell you how much I love everything, so I hope the pictures tell you more than I can!


I have so many pictures, I'm going to attach them so they don't make people scroll too much!

I literally shrieked when I saw that secret surprise pony, I was so excited!! and hubby like's whopper's so I'll save them for him

and floater made my day too, i saw someone else get her and got pony envy, so you did great! sorry it took me so long to get the box... but you now know it got here safely!

Ok, I am sooo sorry I have made UnicornGusty wait so long!! She sent me a wonderful box that had the whole town talking!
PO lady called to tell me I had a wonderful smelling package and that the ladies there were dying to know what was in it. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was coffee that was smelling so good. OH! it was heavenly!
The box was packed with the neatest stuff! Both my kids were pushing to see inside. So out came gifts for each of them. they were both so excited.

That was the last I saw of Rin for a while, she took off with Strawberry Shortcake and has not put her down yet. Kaiba loved putting his lego guy together. We are drawing out treasure maps for the little guy to follow and find pirate treasure. He is having a blast.

Now, on to the box XD

Such a nice card and it was just crammed full of things! In the note, UnicornGusty had warned about opening the bat in front of the kids, I am glad she did, Rin is terrified of things like that. It is soo life-like though.

I love this!! Perfect little Snuzzle face! and there was a Snuzzle wood-burned ornament that was just stunning!!
Also a bunch of Greek candy! i cant wait to taste it but I promised Shake I would wait till he came back. >_>

The coffee maker and some coffee! I was really hoping to have a great pic of foamy coffee but I am still getting the hang of it but it is sooo good! Dark and strong, it is just perfect and the little cup and saucer are beautiful!

You can see in the picture that I got a huge bat! I didn't post close ups cause he is very life-like but I so love him!! UnicornGusty put in such great Nightmare before Christmas stuff Also a great Skull that is sitting with me on my desk now.

You can see a brown book in the picture, i have never seen anything like it before! it is like....dried leaves and raffia build to a book, It is really unique. OH!! and the PONIES!! Baby Blossom and Baby Tiddlywinks are soooo minty and perfect. I squeeed when I saw them! They were each wrapped in pink paper and some of the color had marked them up a bit but most of it has come off, They are sitting in the 'spa' now just waiting to join the herd.

Thank you again UnicornGusty for all of the wonderful gifts! You really put together a great box that I and my children truly enjoyed and I loved getting to learn a little more about your culture. The coffee was just such a perfect personal touch and very thoughtful! I am hooked!
