2011 Winter Holiday Custom Swap - All Received! Time to Reveal!

I'm making a fort out of all the storage boxes sitting in my cubicle. That's why I'm too exhausted at night to work much on my custom. Work is progressing, but slower than I'd like.

Skig, you're at TRU, right? So...... Can you score me a Torelei? j/k, but only kind of. ;)
 
Kmart now. I check the dolls pretty much daily. And I will ask a stocker to downstack a pallet for a case of dolls if I see them. I haven't seen anything in over a month, since I got two Abbeys and a Spectra. I need another Abbey for my niece. I'm keeping my eyes open for Toralei now too.
 
skig, I'm betting my last PM to you made no sense whatsoever. I'm not drunk, I'm just tripping on sinus meds, I swear.

I was INSPIRED tonight after spending the day with Aadra, playing a weird PC game, and cooking dinner and dessert from scratch. I finished all the painting! Just waiting on an answer to a question I had about hair. But I have the colors picked and I found my rehairing tool! Woo! Progress!

I'm hoping to finish one of my extras in the next couple days, but on the off chance I don't like it all that much I'm starting another one. Because I'm ahead of the deadline for once! Spoil time >=D

Oh, you were inspired although I kept "the atmosphere light" even though the game was supposed to be disturbing and dark? And the dinner and dessert were fantastic! Like, I'm craving cupcakes all the time, now. Emmmmm.....
 
Mine is done! Just need to seal in the hair and style it. Cannot BELIEVE how well acetate went with the nylon! :D
 
mine has been done. the pics have been taken and it is all packed up in a box. just need to wait for the day when i can get it mailed out.

I'm still trying to get an extra or two done but that got paused for a few days while I work on dog treat freebies for work. The first two weeks of December are so stressful...
 
OHMYGOD. I got my package today and the pony is AMAZING! I won't say who my partner was so no one starts guessing who theirs is (don't act like you don't do that) but my pony is PERFECT. She is EXACTLY what I think winter is! :D

OMG!!! The suspense is killing me!!! Not really... Skeen lives 2 miles from my house. I saw her pony like, an hour after she got it. :chatter: SUPER CUTE!!

Oh wait... I'm not giving too much away, am I?
 
Lol, no. I think we all assume that living so close together you would NOT be shipping anything to Skeen if she were your partner XD
I always try to keep geographically close people from being partners in swaps anyways. If the rest of us have to spend money on shipping than dag nabbit so do you!!

I'm planning on shipping mine out Tuesday =) Only going to have one extra instead of two though (sad face!) I lost a week of work time with my dad being off for Thanksgiving >.<

I'm shopping for extras tonight but the pony is patiently sitting in her box, all wrapped for her trip. :)
