WOOT! Custom is finished. She is really my pride and joy right now, I really hope that my partner likes her. She was a real stretch for me but I love the way that she came out. I can't wait to ship!

Ugh....still waiting on hair. I got a message from Dollyhair like threed or four days ago and they haven't sent out my order yet. i ordered it a while ago, but theyu moved or something and Tina said it was really hectic. So, I probably won't be sending the pony I made for this swap. I am making another with the hair colors I already have, just in case the other hair doesn't come in time:( Oh well, I really liked the pony I was going to send anyway.

Skeen, once I'm a little farther on this pony, I'll send new pics. I'm prettgy much at the same stage as the other. But I will have this one done at or before the deadline:) I hope that's ok. Pm me if you have any questions or concerns.
 
Tahlise you can also post a want ad for the colors you needed, maybe someone could even trade you for them so you don't have to spend more money.

I am sure that someone near you would have some that they could help you out with, i have extra black magic, some whites and tea rose I would be more than happy to send your way if you could use them. I know lots of the people that customize keep several extra bags in a bunch of colors. knowing it was for a swap, I am sure someone could help.
 
Thankies guys:) I wish I had seen this like much earlier today. Oh well. I figured it out. The color I would have needed would have been a chocolate brown...not sure what it is called. But it's ok. I decided to improvise with the colors I already had here so I didn't have to worry about stuff coming in the mail. My pony for the swap is back on shedule. I hope to have her finished in two or three days tops:) Next time, I will definitely do the WTB section.

Out of curiousity, how long does it take for you guys to get your hair from Dollyhair? I have never ordered this big of an order before. But they have never been this late...

I usually get my packages two weeks from the day I order (and that's even with big purchases, like $60+)
 
It can take up to two weeks for me. Sometimes I'll get home from work and have hair in the mailbox like 5 days later! It depends on how many other people have ordered at the same time, I think. ;)
 
I missed the post office on Saturday but my pony is packed up and ready to go. I have to go into the office tomorrow, but I hope to work from home later this week which means I can make it to the PO before they close. Skeen, I will of course PM you once I've shipped. :)
 
I'm going to rehair tonight and hope to finish the whole head tonight. I will for sure make the shipping dead line. I didn't have the color I needed and waited to long to order. But I have a customizer 15 minutes away that loaned me the colors I needed :)

One color isn't exactly what I needed but it's close....
 
Just need some finishing touches and I'll be ready to ship out tomorrow. Can't wait to start seeing customs! I had a lot of fun :D
