I think you've convinced me. The tail rust on your pony is showing about as much as on mine. I can't bear the thought of her being that grimy inside. Plus it means I can wash her hair without worrying about making it worse, and make her even prettier.

My main issue with removing the head is that they never seem to sit right after, and she's so pretty. :/

I recently obtained a Streaky, one of my dreamie ponies. She has a little bit of tail rust visible, but her neck seal is still so intact and lovely looking. Is there any way to reduce the external visible tail rust without removing her head? I would prefer to keep her as intact as possible...

Of course the only Toys'R'Us in my province closed... She'd be cute to make modifications to, like holes and trimming off the princess boots, and properly colored mane and tail. Her expression is sort of friendly. :unsure:

I got the Pinkie Pie from Build-A-Bear on the weekend. She's so huggable! I'm a little sad, because it was my first time gonig there, and the staff weren't as helpful as they could have been, and I found out after she'd been sewed up that you can get scent things to put in them. So no bubblegum...

They look so icky. The hair is rooted really weirdly.

I found a G1 Baby Sparkle Gusty at a thrift store for $1.00! She's probably the best condition pony I've ever found. Haven't got any pictures of her yet, though. :sadpony:

Pretty sure the Celestia is pink because she is pink, albeit very pale pink, on the show. Hasbro just did a common thing with little girls' toys, and upped to pinkness to make her supposedly more appealing and girly.

I put the critters on my playsets with the ponies, and the brushes go in a cute little bag I have that's full of all the barrettes and brushes from my G3s.

I've got a Night Glider and she's actually had bits cut off, seemingly on purpose. It looks like maybe she has cancer or something, and someone tried to remove it manually. It's too bad, since she's a cute pony. She makes me think of Trixie from G4, maybe it could be her mum.

She's so pretty! Very neat. I've never tried sculpting parts for ponies before.

They're so perfect and cute! I've been rewatching Xena on Netflix lately, so it's fun to see these pop up in the forum.

I'd be curious about the pore strips, but you probably would have to boil them a bit first to make them soft. People noses aren't made of hard-ish vinyl plastic.
