    Pony Storage Tips? Please Help!

Uftaki, we're in essentially the same climate, we do have enough humidity to worry about if ponies are being sealed up too tight. Yep, bagging can be a great thing. I have mine bagged because bare ponies touching each-other can cause staining- especially true of any that have the tendency to...

New here, and looking to part with most of my collection :(

Selling, it really depends on what you have, condition, and the time you'll be able to dedicate to selling to find the best route. First, what you're doing now is perfect trying to ID everything. if you are unsure of any names "dream valley" collector guide online is an easy one (and fun) to...

Most Outrageous Price G1 Price in Person

Ringlet, online that price is perfectly in line with what she is going for, the more people competing for a pony the higher the price can climb. The more local you get though the less expensive prices should be because of less competition (yardsales and thrifts and someone selling out of their...

DJ P0N-3 SDCC Exlclusive: $50 and Swarovski elements

I have some g4's, but I'm not exactly a collector of them, I get the ones I really like and whatever I find thrifting. I was happy to get last year's pony. She was so adorable I *might've* spent the money on ebay to get her had someone kindly not picked her up for me at the SDCC. This one, not...

Accessories - a little help please - brushes and combs (x-posted from arena)

Guessing the darker is with baby surprise, I've found glossy (the plastic itself is harder, more shell like and has a waxier look to it) brushes for those 84' babies. The fishy comb is correctly ID'd, Foamy just a batch variation. Getting to that! Oh my the shade differences, some shades are...

Why is it so hard to find a Flutter pony with wings?

The tab is the little plastic piece that inserts into the wing base, if the tab breaks off the wings will no longer insert into the pony. :( 1st edition "Colour tab" wing. this one is peach blossom's wing, as you can see the tab matches her body colour. these are the most fragile wings. NO...

Why is it so hard to find a Flutter pony with wings?

They break easily, in addition to accessories being the first things children tend to lose. a set of perfect wings will run about $15-20 ish, either a clear tabbed set (came with all second edition flutters, also pink dreams from the slumber party pack), or a set with tabs colored to match the...

Is a MOC/MIB etc always worth keeping intact?

If you're going to sell them yes- keep them MOC. You would be surprised at the amount of flaws could be hidden on a MOC/MIB pony where you can't see while it's in the package. :surprisepony: Sometimes a perfect decarded pony is worth slightly more then inside an awful condition package, but if...

Need some advice with repairs/identifying types of damage

Hard to tell, but she looks like the euro NSS version because of her darker colouring. Same pony was released with the flocking in the US line. :)

Need some advice with repairs/identifying types of damage

Gosh that's sad. :( I'm happy you've got some progress fixing up a few of them though! I'd love to see an after of any you have completed. :) Any that seem hopeless though, even if the bodies seem permanently stained there could still be hope. With the mold on them *in the hair etc. it would...

$ Price Check $ NIB paradise estate

Doesn't surprise me, this set is MUCH harder to get if you live in europe, australia, or NZ selling within any of those places I'd expect to see a MISB set to skyrocket in price by the time an auction ends. Often people who find and sell PE's MISB are in the US or Canada are are unable to ship...

    Is Pony Cancer Really Contagious?

The myth it's contagious is from people seeing spots and discoloration "spread" through a collection. But, seeing a collection of formerly fine ponies succumb to ailments means it's being stored poorly, not that one poor "contaminated" pony was a bringer of a plague. lol. The WORST places to...

The upcoming Equestria Girls dolls (large pic)

It'll be interesting to see what the final product will look like, from selling off a bunch of dolls for years little girls do love individual detail, accessories, and the ability to outfit dolls how they wish (and dolls having clearly different outfits).

$ Price Check $ NIB paradise estate

Things that don't come up for sale often don't have a set price. Finding a current price usually involves auctioning/taking offers on the item. The original box adds value, so if you do decide to list it on ebay (if you're in the US/Canada) making it available to both US and Canadian bidders...

Need some advice with repairs/identifying types of damage

I'd keep those ones apart from the others as they are so filthy, and they have quite a bit of surface mold on them. I wouldn't want to track that anywhere.
