I had posted about the Polaris variant in the past with some in box pictures but thought I’d share some out of box pictures. My local Toys R Us only sells the pink strip Nova and darker Polaris. I believe Basic Fun changed them to be closer to the original art.

I went to my local Toys R Us store to search for pink stripe Nova and discovered that Polaris has been changed as well! She’s darker and her stripes show up more.

Sea Breeze did sell.

Updated. My hiatus turned out to be a lot longer than expected. Lots has happened in the last year and a half, but I am ready to dive into ponies again.

Lemon Drop originally came with the Show Stable. I was hoping to see it. But it looks like she’s going to be released in a Pretty Parlour variation.

I bought this mug and a beautiful G1 pony cup at my local EB Games in Canada. I had to make a few trips as the store received them in different shipments. There’s also supposed to be a set of G1 socks, but my store hasn’t received them.

I’ve been in contact with Indigo quite a bit. I’ve been told quite a few times that the 35th anniversary ponies will not be sold in stores, only online. I was really hoping to get them in person to avoid head/body mismatch, get to see them in stores again, and hoping draw in more buyers so...

I would really like both lines. I’m still waiting to see if they will arrive in Canada. If not, I hope I’ll be able to get the collector set from the US when I visit this summer.
