About time!

Yay! I think we all know who is getting our votes :winkpony:

Still baffled at why a smartphone is listed as a toy...

Hasn’t it been up for this before, or was that a different stage (I don’t really know much about how this works)? Either way, let’s hope it gets in this time.

I'm-- surprised MLP isn't in there already?

I mean, heck. "STICKS" were inducted already, but My Little Ponies weren't?? And what's up with the "Smartphone" being called a toy among the Finalists- apple sauce to that! What, I suppose next year we're going to put TV's on the list, for the "TOY Hall of Fame"? Why not books?!

(the list isn't bad on the whole, I mean. I just think those choices are pretty silly, especially when beloved favorites like the Care Bears and Masters of the Universe are still merely up for consideration)

Colour me perplexed as well. Boxes, blankets, sticks? Sure, kids play with them but kids eat mudpies too and we don't see it being added to restaurant menus. And the addition of "Smartphones" is rather dumb, as they're not really a toy, but a device people hand to children to shut them up and discourage actual playing.

I remember voting for MLP in years past, but it always got beat by something I thought was a buttbun.

Kinda late, but does Applejack look off or weird to anyone else? She’s got blue eyes instead of green. An Italian, maybe?

I didn't notice until you pointed it out, but you're right! I thought she might also be argentinian, but I think that country has her in collector pose...

If anything deserves to actually beat MLP at this point, it’s coloring books.
