My sister and I went to the Mississippi Comic Con today, and I found three new G1 girls for my herd. I managed to find a Posey, Sweet Stuff, and Yum Yum.

Yum Yum is in fairly decent condition: dirty and tangled hair, but for the most part, okay. Sweet Stuff and Posey, on the other hand, weren't so lucky. They both have mohawks, so they're going to need to be rehaired, plus are going to need a good bath.

I'm going to purchase the hair from Dolly Hair, so first, I want to be sure about the colors I need. According to the My Little Pony Hair Color Matching Guide, I'll need Pussycat for Posey and Wisteria, Heartthrob, Pussycat, and Virgin Snow for Sweet Stuff. Do these colors seem right?

Second, how much of the hair do you put into a multi-colored tail? Up to this point, I've only done a tail redo that only used one color.

Third, I'd like for you guys to look at my gallery of pics I took of them to see if there's any potential issues I may have with cleaning. There some spots that kind of look like pony cancer, but I'm not familiar enough with it to be able to tell on my own.

Here's the gallery for those interested. Any advice will be appreciate.

Im sure she does I have had maybe 2 yum yum's pass through my hands. She is a cute pony.

I'm still amazed at how small she is. I mean, I've seen pictures of Flutter Ponies next to non-Flutter Ponies, but she looks so much smaller in person.

She's like a foal compared to Posey and Sweet Stuff.

Thats odd I always thought Yum Yum was as normal of a pony size as the others.

Well, she is, but the Flutter Pony molds are just so much smaller than the typical Earth/Pegasus/Unicorn molds.

Yeah and well Teeny Tiny are like super small but the smallest is the petite ponies or the newborn babies that came out of the Mommy Surprise.

They're so cute!

Posey's hair is Pussycat.

Gimme a sec to track down Sweet Stuff's hair. Someone recently posted a color match guide. She was one of my childhood favorites.

Sweet Stuff-
Wysteria
Heart throb
Pussycat
Virgin Snow

Awesome. Thanks for the confirmation. I was so giddy when I found Yum Yum and Sweet Stuff. I initially wasn't going to get Posey, but since I didn't find anything else I wanted to spend my money on, I went back and got her. These three girls were the highlight of my day. :lolpony:

Sorry for the double post, but I need to bump this thread.

I finally got around to cleaning these girls, and I ran into a problem. Both Posey and Sweet Stuff have spots that I was unable to get off with either Dawn or a Magic Eraser. They both have some black spots (maybe where someone used a marker on them?) that look like they've bled into the vinyl. I don't think it's mold, because the inside was clear. Sweet Stuff also has some pen marks that I couldn't clean, and I think she might have some age spots as well, since the one on her ear is brown with a darker brown center. If need be, I can post pictures up at a later time.

What's the preferred method for getting rid of these? I'm really worried about Sweet Stuff, especially.

Okay, so I think I'm going to go with the sun-enhanced hydrogen peroxide bath. Now I've just got a couple of questions about it.

I've read that it can take off glitter and such from the symbols, but since Posey and Sweet Stuff don't have glitter on theirs, I shouldn't have to worry about the symbols and eyes getting messed up, correct?

As for Sweet Stuff, how difficult is it to push out the gem eyes and replace them? Her eyes are still in pretty good condition, and I don't want the peroxide bath to mess them up, so taking them out is really the only option I have, save from repainting them with a pearlizer or something similar.

Finally, how long should they be exposed to the sun during their baths?
