At my friends house in SC for 3 weeks. I know I should not travel but one I needed to get out of my house for a time. Two just needed to do something and I miss my best friend. And three my parents and sister and niece are driving me nuts.

Boomer moved in my island spontaneously and I hate him so I started summoning Francine via amiibo card so by the time his boxes were unpacked I had her replace him

FROSTING VEHICLE :lolpony: i love it that is amazing. and sounds much better than just eating spoonfuls of frosting...... not that i do that
Sometimes, I make my own frosting. (Peanut butter buttercream is deliciously sinful on brownies) We always have graham crackers, so there's never leftovers.

I'm... kind of back, I guess?

To put a long story short, I needed a break from ponies (and the internet in general.) Collecting is still definitely on the back burner, but I'm looking to get involved in the more craft-y side of pony collecting. Need to downsize the craft hoard somehow.

Also... CC! *flying tacklehugs* It's been years!

Feeling kinda over-whelmed by things

Almost like that feeling I have so much to do at once, lots of things changing at once almost like I can't keep up with everyone else around me, or myself
I know how you feel, every week we get new updates at work about our reopening and they are all different. It's ok to be overwhelmed, we are all in this together! I hope you start to feel on top of things soon.

Have you ever thought maybe someone has jinxed you? Because I have definitely had better years. My neighbor and friend of over 20 years allowed her incredibly mean tom cat to roam and he kept coming to my house, beating up my cats. Ended up killing two of my beautiful queens, Taffeta and Trotsky. He hurt one of my ginger cats Marmalade and I suspect he additionally hurt my cat Saffron. She does this. She just gets pets and lets them go wild. Twice she's had dogs that rampaged around chasing or hurting my animals. When you tell her, she'll just shrug and say that's what animals do. So. We took matters into our own hands and got rid of her cat. We couldn't catch him, so. I won't elaborate, but my partner and I both wept over having to take some measures.

I was already messed up because as a few of you know, my cat Dumpling (who was my mom's cat)had a disastrous pregnancy. After surgery and days of her in the hospital, where I couldn't even see her because of stinkin' Covid, I had to opt for humanity and have her put to sleep. Keeping her alive was torture for her. The vet was kind though. They brought her out to me, let me tell her goodbye and love on her, then they sedated her in the parking lot in my arms. After that they took her in and put her to sleep. So i lost her, the kittens. And I spent thousands of dollars to literally put her through hell trying to save her.

Then Monday one of the guinea pigs I rescued passed away. I knew he was old, but it was still awful. And yesterday. Yesterday my bird cage got opened while I was asleep and my cockatiels got out and one of the dogs got one. I don't think the dog meant to hurt it, I think she was just curious. In any case, my partner brings me my Gabby Gadzooks who is injured. I just sat there in the bed and she died in my hands. The other bird, Marlarkey, who I've had for about 10 years was unscathed, but he's traumatized because Gabby was the love of his life. I bought her for him after his mom died.

So I just feel like I'm bad luck. And a bad person. So I've been hiding. I post stupid things on facebook every few days so my sisters think I'm okay, but apparently they have gotten wise to that trick. Dangit. Anyway. I thought I should come back and try to cheer up someone else if I can't cheer up me. I've missed you guys. I just didn't wanna bring anyone down with the constant horrorshow my life has been.

On the upside, I did have kittens that survived, so my living room is fulla adorable mewmews.

So what have y'all been up to while hiding from the plague?
