Aw, what a sweet name! And you rescued him, giving him a wonderful life. I know he'll stay by your side, even though you can't see him now. You gave him a home.

Well at least he got to eat white meat chicken that was flayed and fried in butter 6 times a day for a month
I'm going to miss him :blush:
Still I'm happy he is not suffering anymore...

Wouldn't dog food prescribed/suggested by a Vet be healthier for the dog than fried chicken in butter 6 times a day?

When a dog is in palliative care a vet will always recommend keeping the pet comfortable, happy and eating. It doesn’t matter what the animal is eating as long as it’s eating at that point.
 
My horse Stormy went running by and I realized... she had a squirrel clinging to her butt! I grabbed my camera, but she careened to the back of the land and when she returned, it was sans squirrel. Why do the best things happen and I can't get a pic?
 
While stuck in this cast I can’t walk or put weight on my foot. So I am stuck watching daytime tv. I am here to say I am so glad for Disney+ and Netflix due to the horribleness of daytime tv.

Agreed! Also my internet/cable/phone is all down due to an outage in my area today... thank goodness for cellphones on a different provider.

We used to have a tortoise that lived in my backyard. It was there before us. We would put out lettuce for it whenever we had the sprinkler on. One time the dog (a shih tzu) tried to sniff the tortoise. It latched onto her chin hair and held on as she ran around. Needless to say, the dog never went near the tortoise again. It was about 10" across it's shell. They lived just randomly up and down our whole neighborhood in simi valley.
 
I want a new pet fish.

I love desert tortoises! I'd dearly love a Sulcuta, but they're so pricey. I have a dozen ornate box turtles and three toed turtles I've rescued over the years, the oldest I've had since 1987. I also have three stinkpots (musk turtles). I always worry because they'll outlive me if they do well, so Action Hank will inherit them. I think he'll treat them well though.

Poopsie lived in Lancaster and Bakersfield growing up and had tortoises off and on that would come visit. I so wishI'd get to see one in the wild one day.
 
Well it came here. Two collage students test pos. For the corona virus at a college near my home town. Their in quarantine right now. I worry how many more there will be.

I used to watch Soap Opera's as did my mother when I was a toddler and lots of other Housewives/Mothers also watched Soap Opera's...

That's daytime TV and there are still talk shows...
 
Currently pondering my creative endeavors, and waiting on word from a concert booker to see if we can still go on tour in late May.... Ugh. Also stalking my mailbox for ponies! I may have gone a little ebay crazy last week... I mean, if I'm going to be "social distancing" might as well have some new ponies to keep me company! :)
 
Well still sick but got my caste off. Only to be put in my boot and be told you can’t walk still for two week. When will this end

I am just so tired of sitting. The boot has a corner that digs into my leg and I can’t fix it. I hope it goes fast. I just want to move is all.
